HOT in the CITY
HOT in the CITY is the - first in the world - mobile social media service that uses Near Field Communication, NFC
enabled mobile phones as friend connection platform. This mobility brings a whole new way of looking at friend connections
and friend networks. Location creation is based on NFC tags, which and are easy to create and use. Using NFC tags for
location and events gives opportunities to new business.
HOT in the CITY has four components: mobile phone application for the use in NFC enabled mobile phones,
scalable back-end service, Facebook application front-end, and a web portal. Especially, HOT in the CITY uses
mobile devices with Near Field Communication connectivity.
HOT in the CITY uses Facebook application to connect with Facebook friends and HOT in the CITY users. HOT in the CITY is the
mobile social media and friend connection platform, however, and can be connected to any open social media platform.
